अंश मेखला : यह अक्षीय कंकाल व अग्र पाद (हाथ) को जोड़ने वाली मेखला होती है। वास्तविक में हमारा शरीर 2 कंकाली भागों में बटा हुआ है। पहला अक्षीय कंकाल और दूसरा है उपांगी कंकाल। उपांगी कंकाल - पादो की अस्थियां अपनी मेखला के साथ उपांगी कंकाल बनाती है। मेखला दो प्रकार की होती हैं, पहला होता है अंश मेखला और दूसरा होता है श्रोड़ी मेखला। अंश मेखला ऊपर की ओर होता है तो जाहिर सी बात है किया हाथों से जुड़ा होता है। जबकि श्रोड़ी मेखला नीचे की ओर कमर के पास स्थित होता है।
